February 25, 2019

David Birnie and Catherine Harrison, two childhood lovers with troubled pasts, would both be arrested in their adolescent years and separated for nearly two decades following a series of petty criminal offences. In the mid-1980's, David and Catherine would finally reunite and quickly escalate their history of petty crime to much more serious offences - the abduction, rape, and murder of at least four different young women in Western Australia. In the penultimate episode of our "Deadly Love" series, Matt and Kayla tackle the lives and crimes of David and Catherine Birnie, the Moorhouse Murderers.

26-year old Alvin Neelley and Judith Ann Adams met in 1980 when Judith was just 16-years old. After quickly eloping, the two would go on a prolific crime spree that saw them rob banks and commit a number of other petty crimes. After being arrested and finally reunited in the Fall of 1982, Alvin and Judith Neelley would severely escalate the intensity of their crimes, savagely kidnapping, raping, and murdering 13-year old Lisa Ann Millican and 22-year old Janice Kay Chatman. These crimes would lead Judith Neelley to becoming the youngest woman ever sentenced to death in the United States. In the second episode of our "Deadly Love" series, we take a look at the heinous crimes committed by Alvin and Judith Neelley.

E51: Michael and Suzan Bear Carson

February 11, 2019

Michael and Suzan Bear Carson, two vagabonds living the hippie lifestyle in 1980's California, undertook one of the most bizarre series of murders in the history of killer couples. The self-described "vegetarian Muslim warriors" would hear LSD-induced messages from God, who told them to rid the world of so-called "witches". This would lead the couple to killing three strangers over a period of just over two years, eventually being branded the "San Francisco Witch Killers". In the first episode in our Deadly Love series, we take a look at the lives, crimes, and the eventual capture of Michael and Suzan Bear Carson.

E50: FEMA Camps (Redux)

E50: FEMA Camps (Redux)

February 4, 2019

Conspiracy theories about FEMA Camps have existed for decades, with believers warning that Americans who are deemed to be "dissidents" could be betrayed by their government at any time and confined to forced labor and mass extermination camps. While little concrete evidence exists to back up these claims, nations around the world have infamous examples of governments turning on their own people, creating more than enough precedence to lend some legitimacy to these rumors. In celebration of our 50th episode, we re-investigate the topic of our second ever episode - FEMA Camps.
